Our tankless installation process

Sizing matters more on tankless than tank because an undersized unit will struggle on cold-weather days when incoming water is 40°F. We size for the worst-case day, not the average. We're certified Rinnai, Navien, and Rheem installers, and we pull the permit and handle inspection on every install. Pairs naturally with our broader Water Heater Services Hub. If you'd rather stay with a traditional tank, see Water Heater Installation. Bundling with Furnace Installation or AC Installation can save real money on labor.
How it works
How a tankless install goes
From the assessment to the final flow test on every fixture.
- 1
1. Free in-home assessment
Within 24-48 hours. We measure peak flow demand, gas line size, venting path, and water hardness.
- 2
2. Two or three options
Rinnai, Navien, and Rheem - side by side with financing built in. Sized for Indiana's 40°F incoming winter water.
- 3
3. One-day install
Wall-mount, gas line upgrade if needed (most homes need 3/4"), stainless or PVC venting, isolation valves for future flushing, full flow test.
- 4
4. 12-year parts & labor
On top of the Rinnai/Navien manufacturer warranty. Permit and inspection handled by us.

Tankless installation for Plainfield homes

Plainfield, Avon, Brownsburg, and Mooresville sit on hard water - and hard water is the number-one killer of tankless systems if you don't plan for it. We carry water-test kits on every assessment so you'll know whether a softener pre-treatment makes sense. That one decision can double the life of the new unit. Indiana's cold winters also matter for sizing: incoming water can drop to 40°F in February, which means a unit rated for 8 GPM at 70°F rise might only deliver 5 GPM in winter.
